Michelmersh Silver Band has looked back at a highly successful 2025 with the promise of yet more memorable highlights to come.

Versatility

The West of England First Section band has certainly shown its versatility over the past nine months — qualifying for the Cheltenham National Finals for the second successive year and gaining promotion to the Championship Section in the process under MD Kevin Smith.

They also took to the stage over three days at the huge CarFest event run by former 'Big Breakfast' host Chris Evans, whilst they are now looking forward to appearances at the equally raucous Rugby Club Oktoberfest and the slightly more sedate Wessex Association Contest in November.

Sell out

Successful concert promotions saw them play to sell-out audiences at Romsey Abbey and the Plaza Theatre with their annual Christmas Show already extended to three nights later this year.
