The Wallace Collection will link up with the cooperation band

British Open contenders, the cooperation band will look to make a substantial musical impression on an audience alongside The Wallace Collection ensemble this weekend.

Invisible Symphony

On Sunday 24th August, at Stockbridge Paris Church in Edinburgh (8.00pm), they will join forces for a performance of Giovani Gabrieli's 'Invisible Symphony', the complete 1615 'Canzone et Sonate' reimagined as a through-composed symphony.

This performance, with music transcribed by NYBBS patron John Wallace CBE for brass quintet and brass band, will be conducted by Bede Williams.

The band is set into 4 choirs playing selected movements in various combinations, with a quintet as a fifth choir to provide a true 'surround-sound' experience for the audience.
