Youngsters urged to join the coop

The Cooperation Youth Band is looking to enjoy yet another great season of fun music making.

Registration is now open for new members to come along and join The Cooperation Youth Band for what promises to be an exciting 2025/26 season.

Based in Glasgow both new and existing members are being asked to complete an on-line registration form at:

There is a place for you

A spokesperson told 4BR: "So if you know any young musicians, friends or family who play a brass, woodwind, or percussion instrument, please invite them to join.

No matter your experience level, there's a place for you in our band!"

They added: "Each rehearsal is an opportunity to develop musical skills, build friendships, and prepare for two fantastic concerts showcasing the band's talent and teamwork.

Let's make music together, so sign up and be part of something special with the Cooperation Youth Band!

Monthly Sunday rehearsals take place at the Europa Building, Argyle Street, Glasgow between 1.00pm and 3.00pm.

August 24th/September 21st/October 26th/December 7th/January 25th/February 22nd/March 22nd/April 19th.

Two concerts are already pencilled into the diary on Friday December 12th and April 25th.
