The Purcell School has announced a formal partnership with the New Talent Festival to offer a prize of a place at the School for a talented young musician.

Recognising the remarkable achievements of Festival Founder Amy Yuan, the collaboration highlights its ongoing commitment to nurturing exceptional musical talent from around the world.

Inspire and support

Speaking about the partnership, Paul Hoskins, Director of Music at The Purcell School, said: "We greatly admire Amy Yuan's vision and what the New Talent Festival has achieved.

Many of our students have benefitted from these wonderful opportunities, so it felt entirely natural to formalise this partnership by offering a place at The Purcell School.

We look forward to working closely together to inspire and support the next generation of young musicians."

August 20 • Front Row Cornet & Tenor Trombone. We're a friendly, ambitious Second Section band based in South East Northumberland just north of Blyth. We rehearse Tuesdays & Thursdays, 19:30-21:30, and transport can be provided depending on location.
