The critically acclaimed Ben Goldscheider who made such an impression with his performance of Edward Gregson's 'French Horn Concerto' at the RNCM International Brass Band Festival in Manchester earlier this year, will give a special recital concert in the heart of London next month.
225 year span
As part of the Spitalfields Music Festival which runs from the 1st — 9th July, he will be joined by pianist Richard Uttley for the event at St Giles Cripplegate in the City of London (EC2Y 8DA) on Thursday 3rd July (7.00pm) for a programme that spans an arc of 225 years of composition.
Premieres
His programme will include Beethoven, 'Sonata', Brahms' 'Four Serious Songs' and Jane Vignery's 'Horn Sonata Op. 7' as well as the London premiere of 'Sometimes for Horn and Piano' by Brian Elias, and the world premiere of 'The Water Remembers' by Jonathan Dove.
