BRASSETTES
The second series has just been launched.

The Brassettes Podcast presented by Joanne Behan has returned for a second series — and with two wonderful guests for listeners to enjoy.
The series continues to shine a spotlight on female brass players from all walks of life — their stories and experiences in a traditionally male-dominated world to create a platform that is as empowering as it is entertaining.

Series 2:

Hosted by Joanne Behan, Brassettes has grown from a passion project into a growing community of listeners who tune in for the honesty, humour and heart behind each guest's story.

Episode 1: Gunhild Carling

The new series opens with the Swedish multi-instrumentalist and showstopper Gunhild Carling.

Known for her jaw-dropping jazz packed with a blend of virtuosity, vintage style and showbiz sparkle. In this interview she discusses how she fell in love with brass and her family's musical legacy.

She also discussed what drives her to keep pushing creative boundaries — from playing three trumpets at once, to swinging with Postmodern Jukebox, all with such pizzazz, laughter, energy and incredible talent.
