Denis Wick boost to Hebden Bridge contest

The 'Best Instrumentalist' at the forthcoming March & Hymn Tune Contest will get a generous boost thanks to Denis Wick products.

The popular Hebden Bridge March & Hymn Tune Contest takes place on Sunday 15th June with bands taking part in the event based at St George's Square (HX7 8ET). Competitors march up Bridge Gate to perform their chosen works there from 12 noon.

Prize fund

As always there is a great family atmosphere and a £1500 prize fund for the 14 bands to battle for a share of — including this year, an extra prize provided for by Denis Wick Products.

The main 'Best Instrumentalist' award will come with a £120 voucher, with spokesperson for the organisers telling 4BR: "Our thanks go to Brett Baker and to Denis Wick for this generous addition to or prize fund.

We are looking forward to welcoming the 14 bands who will perform for our adjudicator Alan Hobbins."
