BrookWright Music: Dawn Emerges (Naomi Hill)

A new flugel solo from the pen of a talented young composer.

BrookWright Music
The latest release is a reflective flugel solo written by Naomi Hill

'Dawn Emerges' by English composer Naomi Hill is a solo for flugel horn (or Bb instrument) and piano. This evocative work is a musical journey toward a radiant climax, capturing the emotional shift of witnessing an emerging dawn.

Recital

Ideal for recital or reflective performance settings, it offers both lyrical depth and expressive nuance.

The composer states that it gradually builds through a series of modulations, growing with confidence yet never forceful, inviting the performers to embrace the transformation at its heart.

As it returns to a reflective mood, the final moments gently recede into silence — the same stillness from which the piece began.
