2025 Brass in Concert Championship draws confirmed

The draws for the Brass in Concert and Youth Brass in Concert Championships were made in Stavanger.

The draws for the 2025 Brass in Concert and Youth Brass in Concert Championships were made in Stavanger during the recent European Championships.

Led by Brass in Concert advisor Kenny Crookston, with BBE Chief Operating Officer Sarah Baumann and Chris Thomas, it was live-streamed via the www.woplay.com platform prior to the Saturday evening Gala Concert.

Time and place

The event will take place over the weekend of Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Gateshead.

Tickets will go on sale from Friday 11th July at midday via The Glasshouse website and box office.

48th Brass in Concert Championship:

Bands will perform from 11.00am on Saturday 16 November, with the results ceremony scheduled to take place at 8:30pm.

Youth Brass in Concert Championship:

Following its highly successful return last year, seven bands will compete for the title of Youth Brass in Concert Champions on Sunday 16th.

1. Lancashire Youth Brass Band
2. Elland Silver Youth Band
3. Lions Youth Brass
4. Shepherd Youth Band
5. Wardle Academy Youth Band
6. Houghton Area Youth Band
7. Youth Brass 2000

The youth performances will begin at 11.00am finishing at approximately 5.00pm, followed by the results ceremony.
