  Ty Cerdd offers two free online panel discussions

Ty Cerdd- Music Centre for Wales is offering a brace of free online training discussion to help music creatives find out more about how to make a mark in the music industry.

Music Industry 101

'Music Industry 101' on Tuesday 8th April (4.30pm-6.00pm) will introduce participants to industry professionals who will share their insights and opportunities on a specific topic. Hosted by Natalie Jones and Reem Muhammed, it is delivered in partnership with FOCUS Wales and will include a Q&A session.

The discussion will look at funding opportunities and news from bodies such as Arts Council Wales; Wales Arts International; Youth Music; Sound and Music; Creative Wales and Ty Cerdd.

Meet the Bookers

'Meet the Bookers' on Wednesday 9th April (5.30pm-7.00pm) will see Natalie and Reem lead discussions to find out what live music bookers are looking for and how performers can make themselves as marketable as possible.

The session will include guests Andy Jones (FOCUS Wales), Andrew Gordon (SLUSH) and Jon Ruddick (SHIFT) as well as a Q&A session.

Alder Valley Brass

June 19 • Bb bass player. We are an ambitious, busy and sociable 2nd section band (L&SC, National finalists 2023) with a varied blend of engagements, concerts and contests. We rehearse 8-10pm Mondays and Thursdays in Farnham, Surrey. Other enquiries welcome.
