The three year musical partnership between Sale Brass and MD Jess Tredrea has come to an end.

Sale Brass
The three year partnership has come to an end

Jess Tredrea has stepped down from the role of Musical Director of Sale Brass.

It brings to an end a successful three-year musical partnership, one which has seen the band promoted to the Third Section.

Immensely grateful

A band spokesperson said: "Her dedication and focus has developed the band such that we firmly established ourselves in the Third Section with our recent outing at Blackpool.

The band will remain immensely grateful for the work and progress which Jess made and look to a new MD to build on this and develop us further."

Thoroughly enjoyed

In response Jess said: "I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with Sale and my only regret is that it's not able to continue. However, my work-life balance hasn't been right for some time and I'm not able to give the band the time and dedication it deserves.

Over the last few years we've enjoyed Whit Friday outings, a great selection of concerts and contests, and were particularly delighted with our performance at the Red Admiral Entertainment contest last year where we were runner-up won a range of sectional prizes."

Huge supporter

Jess added: "I'm hugely grateful for the support that Sale have given me in recent months, and I look forward now to being a huge supporter of the band and watching as they continue the great work we've done together. "
