20 years of student brass banding at Edinburgh University is to be celebrated next month with a special concert held at Surgeon's Hall in Edinburgh.
Founded in Spring 2005, the Edinburgh University Brass Band (EUBB) was one of the first student brass bands in Scotland. It has since gone from strength to strength over the following two decades by hosting well-attended concerts alongside several successful appearances at the Whit Friday contests.
Invitation
Band President Neil Sillence told 4BR: "We would like to invite alumni, friends and anyone passionate about student banding to join us in celebration at the event on Sunday 23rd March at 7.30pm for an evening of all things EUBB.
There will be a buffet and a ceilidh. Dress code is smart, with black tie optional — although the sense of celebration is mandatory!"
