Northop Silver Band has been busy in the transfer market making signings as they prepare for theor trip to Swansea in March to perform at the Welsh Regional Championships.

Wyss return

The band has confirmed that the experienced Thomas Wyss makes a welcome return to the band to lead them, whilst the contest will see six recent signings take their place on stage under his baton.

These are Oliver Ridley (soprano); Keith Jones (solo cornet); Kath Gavan (back row cornet); Nick Jones (solo trombone); Llion Dafydd Barker (bass trombone) and Colin Doran (Bb tuba)
