Oldroyd brand to return to brass marketplace

A new series of professional level Oldroyd instruments will soon be available as former Geneva founder returns to manufacturing.

Oldroyd
The Oldroyd name will be seen again stamped on instruments

Tim Oldroyd is returning to brass instrument manufacturing under his own company Oldroyd Musical Instruments Ltd.

The founder of Geneva Instruments left the company in 2022 to seek other opportunities. He has now re-entered the industry with a professional range of brass instruments — from cornets to euphoniums.

Passion

Speaking to 4BR he said: "Returning to manufacturing reignites my passion for providing the brass band community with instruments of the very highest calibre.

The Oldroyd name has always stood for quality and innovation, and I'm confident that our upcoming line of instruments will continue to uphold and elevate that legacy. I look forward to meeting the demands of players and enthusiasts alike with instruments that not only meet but exceed their expectations."

New line soon

4BR was informed that details about the new Oldroyd line of brass instruments, including product specifications, availability, and distribution, will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
