Yorkshire Imperial Band has engaged the experienced Ian McElligott to lead their Championship Section challenge at the forthcoming Yorkshire Area Championships.

Long established

The former Army musician has a long-established connection with Brighouse & Rastrick, and is currently an integral part of its Artistic & Creative Team working alongside Prof David King and Dr David Thornton.

He has also enjoyed a great deal of freelance work, successfully linking up with the likes of Sandhurst Silver, Carlton Main Frickley Colliery and Thoresby Colliery.
