The Welsh and Brass in Concert Champion Cory recently opened what promises to be a busy schedule of events in the coming year with a concert in Carmarthen.

The band also took the opportunity to present their annual awards voted for by members.

Principal cornet Tom Hutchinson was presented with the 'Player of the Year' accolade with percussionist Ali Woodman gaining the 'Band Member of the Year' award.
