The RNCM Young Projects initiatives is looking to attract young brass players to perform in their mass ensemble as part of this year's RNCM International Brass Band Festival. It will take place on Sunday 26th January.
Premiere performance
As part of the outreach programme of the Junior RNCM it will see young players of middle and low featured in a performance on the RNCM concourse as part of the showcase event.
The ensemble of young players will give the premiere of Alan Fernie's latest work, entitled, 'Four Seasons', which has been written specially for the occasion.

Speaking about the exciting opportunity, RNCM tutor Helen Varley told 4BR: "We want to gather as many young tenor horn, baritone, euphonium, trombone and tuba players as possible, so please do sign up for this terrific event!
We always have lots of fun, and it's a super way for young players to get a taste of what it's like to study at the RNCM and to be part of the most important showcase international brass band event in the UK."
Workshops begin at 10.00am on Sunday 26th January with the performance at 12:30pm. The free event is open to any youngsters of school age, with parts catering for all abilities4BR
