There is a wonderful way to take part in the custom of Wassailing this Christmas thanks to a cracking release from the award-winning Jock McKenzie.
Warm food or money
The seasonal act of singing carols door-to-door and wishing good health has been part of community life for hundreds of years, with the performers undertaking the task in the hope of a few pennies for their talents or even some warm food!
It is thought that this carol was composed around 1850.
Jock McKenzie studied trumpet at the Royal Northern College of Music and has inspired countless players with his wonderful compositions and arrangements.
