The Doctor Martin Wainstone Cup Contest has announced a change of date for its 2025 event.

New date

It will now take place on Sunday 6th July at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium at Yarm School in Stockton upon Tees. It has previously been held in September the day after the British Open Championship.

It follows a survey of audience members and participants with the organisers hoping to attract even more bands to an event that boats one of the most generous prize funds in UK banding.
