The latest release by BrookWright Music is a wonderful cornet solo with band or piano accompaniment.

Florence Price was an American classical composer, pianist, organist and music teacher, noted as the African-American woman to be recognised as a symphonic composer.

Price composed over 300 works: four symphonies, four concertos, as well as choral works, art songs, chamber music and music for solo instruments. In 2009, a collection of her works previously considered lost, was found in her abandoned summer home.

Adoration

Amongst them was 'Adoration', composed in the 1950s for organ. It has since become popular as a violin solo with piano but has now been arranged by Andrew Wainwright for Bb cornet.
