A Century of Art

'A Century of Art' was composed for Brass Band Kunst naar Kracht from the town of De Goorn in The Netherlands for its 100th anniversary in 2022.

Originally written as a work for fanfare orchestra, it has been expertly rearranged for brass band by euphonium star and conductor Robbert Vos.

It is inspired by the remarkable amount of art that has been created in the area over the decades as well as paying tribute to some famous brass band test-pieces as well as 'Lohengrin' which was used at the British Open in 1922 — the year the band was formed.
