The West Midlands Police Brass Band recently hosted its inaugural awards evening.

It was a successful evening in every way — especially for those who gained award recognition from Director of Music, Steve Pritchard-Jones.

Winners

Carl Turner received the 'Player of the Year' accolade, whilst Chris Jeavons was presented with the 'Most Improved Player' trophy. Hard working secretary John Gillham was named 'Players' Player of the Year', whilst the delighted horn and flugel team took the 'Section of the Year' award.
