79 bands to compete at London & Southern Counties Area

There is a fine turn out of bands competing at Stevenage this year — all hoping to get either to the Albert Hall or Cheltenham.

Stevenage
  Stevenage will host two full days of contesting

79 bands will compete for the National Finals qualification places at the London & Southern Counties Regional Championships in Stevenage in March.

The event takes place on the weekend of the 16th/17th March and will see two bands qualify for the Albert Hall with three each in the First to Fourth Sections.

July 3 • Haverhill Silver Band (championship section) seeks a PRINCIPAL CORNET. This is a superb opportunity to lead East Anglia's premier brass band on the concert and contest stage (including the Senior Cup and Whit Friday).


Chinnor Silver

July 3 • Our COMMUNITY BAND meet fortnightly on a Monday morning (next rehearsal 7th) and we welcome any players who want an extra blow.. We require no allegiance just come and enjoy the friendly blow with coffee and cake thrown in.(Its all free)
