West of England Area announces judges

Bands in Torquay in March will have to impress five new sets of ears in the box if they are to claim their places at London and Cheltenham.

  The event takes place in Torquay on the weekend of the 9th & 10th March

The line-up of judges that will make the important London and Cheltenham National Final qualification decisions at the West of England Regional Championships has been announced.

The West of England Brass Band Associations (WEBBA) have revealed the adjudication teams for the Regional Championships that will take place at the Riviera International Centre and Upton Vale Baptist Church in Torquay on the weekend of 9th & 10th March.

One return

Lt Col David Barringer, MVO MBE makes a welcome return to event for the first time since 2019, although there is a first appearance for Dr Stephen Cobb, Bandmaster of the International Staff Band of the Salvation Army.

Steve Pritchard Jones, Alan Duguid, Chris Binns and Stephanie Binns make their West of England Area debuts in the box.
