Berkshire Music Trust is looking forward to welcoming players from Cory Band to work with their young brass students in a band workshop day on Sunday the 4th of February (10.00am start).
It will be held at Ranelagh School in Bracknell (RG12 9DA) and will MD Philip Harper and star players Tom Hutchinson, Ailsa Russell and Rob Nicholson work with players from anywhere around the country who wish to attend.
Brilliant opportunity
A spokesperson told 4BR: "This is a brilliant opportunity to be inspired in your playing. So if you know of any young brass player (18 and under and Grade 3+) who would benefit from this opportunity why not come along an enjoy a great experience."
There will be two youth bands on the day — one for players approximately Grades 3-5, and the other Grade 6+. The course will run from 10.00am to 3.00pm and costs £30.
The event is sponsored by Besson, and there will be a Prozone trade stand open on the day for delegates to try new instruments.
