BBE to help bands master social media

If you want to be much better at using social media to benefit your band, Brass Bands England will be hosting a special webinar to help you along.

Socail Media
The webinar is being hosted by Adam Koszary, Head of Digital at The Audience Agency.

Brass Bands England (BBE) have announced a special training session on understanding and using social media to benefit your band.

The special webinar will take place on Wednesday 19th July (7.00pm) and will be led by social media expert Adam Koszary, Head of Digital at The Audience Agency.

Create content

Adam has run social media output for cultural institutions such as the Royal Academy of Arts, Museum of English Rural Life and Bodleian Libraries.

He has also worked as the Social Media Manager for Tesla and currently works for The Audience Agency, where he helps clients across the arts to understand online audiences, create content and digitally transform their organisations.

Use it

He stated: "Social media can be bewildering. Every day it seems like there's a new app being released, strange TikTok trends to jump on and billionaires posting questionable tweets.

So, how can brass bands use it and manage to have fun at the same time? That's what we'll be looking at."

Ask questions

The webinar will take a no-nonsense look at what social media's all about, covering ways to use the variety of platforms, how to be realistic with precious time and what a good social media post looks like.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, there will be a short break halfway through — participants are not required to prepare anything.

Book up

The event is free for members of Brass Bands England and £10 for non-members.
