The Lydbrook Band from the Forest of Dean will be heading into Europe this weekend as part of their centenary celebrations.
The band and supporters will be touring northern Belgium, setting off on Saturday morning to head to their first destination of Blankenberge.
Performances
Over the weekend and onto Tuesday they will perform several concerts in and around Gent, Ypres and Bruges and have been given the honour of playing at the Tyne Cot cemetery and the Menin Gate on Monday as part of the daily 'Last Post' ceremony (above).
Led by MD Gareth Ritter, they has also prepared a varied programmes of music including 'Shadow Cast by the Sun' by their Composer-in-Residence, Liz Lane, and will also be taking the opportunity to feature some of their talented young soloists.
