Saddleworth Whit Friday details announced

The venues are back with some minor tweaks and a call for help to make the day run as smoothly as possible.

Whit Friday
The bands return to Saddleworth for the great day out

Details of the Saddleworth & Oldham District Whit Friday contests which take place on 2nd June have been announced.

There is over £35,000 in prize money to be won this year courtesy of the generous financial support from private sponsorship and through Oldham Council.

Some tweaks

Encouragingly following the enforced Covid-19 break, all the venues return although there have been some minor tweaks to starting and finishing times and the appointment of judges.

Competing bands are reminded that the Saddleworth Whit Friday website offers valuable information to assist them on the day.

The site has details and links to all contests, a map of the area and a contact form where bands can submit their details to all the contests before the event. This is not a registration process but will give organisers helpful contact details ahead of time.

To find out more go to: www.saddleworthwhitfriday.co.uk

Please help with BOPA registration

To help enormously with the running of the events, bands are being asked to provide their details electronically to enable compliance with BOPA provisions. It would make life much easier for organisers.
