The Woodfalls Band will offer a warm welcome to the Nidaros Brass Band next week as the Norwegian ensemble makes one of its regular visits to the UK.
They will be joining the Wiltshire based top section band for a special concert at Boscombe Salvation Army Hall on Saturday 27th May (7.30pm) to provide plenty of family entertainment.
Non-competitive
Nidaros were founded in 2003 by brass band enthusiasts in Trondheim who shared a strong desire to play in a UK style brass brand in a non-competitive environment. They perform challenging and entertaining concerts presenting music from a wide variety of genres.
Speaking about the forthcoming event, Woodfalls Band Secretary, Remus Sawyer said: "Nidaros has a fine reputation as a concert band, with a lot of humour, joy of playing and high standard of musical performance.
We look forward to sharing the concert platform with them for what is set to be a fantastic night of music making."
