It has been announced that Prof David King will lead Manger Musikklag as they look to regain the Norwegian National title in Bergen in February next year.

The band last won the title in 2010, although the combination enjoyed four consecutive National victories together from 1994 to 1997. The Australian has also claimed titles with Eikanger and Stavanger, with his last of his 10 titles coming in 2015 with Eikanger.
