The University of Huddersfield Brass Band recently performed as part of the Act of Remembrance at its campus site.
Led by MD Jonathan Beatty the event took place in the University Square and was an integral part of the band's performance commitment to the University's community activity.
Honour
Jonathan told 4BR: "It was a great honour to be able to play our part in the service and to remind us all of the sacrifice others gave so we can enjoy our music making."
Representatives of the band will also be on hand at the University Open Day this weekend on Saturday 19th November.
Jonathan added: "We hope people will come along and say hello and find out more what fantastic opportunities the University offers for brass band students — including our upcoming concerts at Huddersfield Town Hall on 5th December.
