Foden's set for Warwick visit

The National Champion will head to Warwick later this month to lead a workshop day and world premiere performance.

Foden's will be bringing the famous National Trophy with them

National Champion, Foden's is looking forward to making their way down the M6 from their home in Sandbach to visit Warwickshire on Saturday 12th November for a day packed full of music making.

The band will of course be bringing the famous silver trophy that they retained only a few weeks ago as they visit the impressive Warwick Hall at Warwick School where they will be leading workshops to over 50 local brass and percussion instrumentalists as well as providing an evening concert.

New work

Foden's trombone star John Barber has written a new piece especially for the event which aims to celebrate music from the area. The workshop group together with the National Champion will give the world premiere during the concert.

Foden's Band Manager Mark Wilkinson told 4BR: "After a hectic last few weekends it's great to be able to spend time inspiring yet more brass and percussion players.

The concert is going to be great, and John's piece is sure to be a hit."

Further information:

The concert starts at 7.00pm and tickets, priced at £12 can be purchased using the link:
