Colorado Brass, a British style brass band formed in 2018 continues to build an impressive musical profile in its home US state and beyond.
The ensemble of over 30 professional and amateur performers has successfully competed at both the US Open and NABBA National Championships under the baton of Principal Conductor, Dr. Brett Keating, and continues to attract outstanding brass and percussion performers to their ranks.
New role
They have just announced that the hugely respected Keven Stewart moves up to the solo euphonium role.
Keven began his career as a professional musician the U.S. Navy Concert Band. He was subsequently appointed Professor of Trombone, Euphonium & Tuba and ensemble conductor at Colorado State University Pueblo and is currently the Executive Director of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association.
With huge musical experience with the likes of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, in addition he also teaches many outstanding top low brass students in Colorado.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from the University of Puget Sound, a Masters of Music in Music Performance from the Eastman School of Music, and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Maryland State University.
