The Regent Brass organisation recently hosted an inspirational day of music-making led by Sheona Wade and featuring players from Regent Brass, Regent Community Brass and the Camden Youth Brass Band.
The day began with a masterclass, with several players taking the opportunity to work directly with Sheona. In the afternoon a workshop saw musicians from all three bands join with their conductors to delve into works with Sheona giving invaluable advice and insight on how to develop and improve.

The day ended with Sheona giving a performance of John Golland's 'Ballade' before parents and supporters joined for an informal concert showcasing music from across the day.
Speaking about the initiative, Regent Brass Musical Director Alan Duguid told 4BR: "We are so grateful to Sheona for making the journey down to London work with the bands.
Hearing her insights and of course her beautiful playing was a real inspiration. We look forward to welcoming her back in the future!
