The Wessex Band Summer School has announced the line-up of tutors who will lead delegates on their course at Sturminster Newton High School, Dorset, between Monday 1st to Saturday 6th August.

Three ensembles

The course will be led by Musical Director Michael Fowles and will feature new and returning members enjoying musical experiences with one of three ensembles; a Training Band for Wind, Brass and Percussion players of all ages, from beginners up to Grade 4 standard as well as separate Wind and Brass Bands catering for those above that level.

Non-residential

The course is non-residential, but there is a campsite on the school field for the week of the course, and there is a super canteen ready to serve breakfast, lunch and much needed pick me ups at break times.
