Huge audience enjoys WFEL Fairey performance

Over 10,000 people in Manchester and millions at home will enjoy WFEL Fairey's contribution to the celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The band joined a host of stars for the event in Manchester

The WFEL Fairey Band has just taken part in the huge National Lottery's 'Big Jubilee Street Party' held at the AO Arena in Manchester.

Hosted by Jason Manford and Fleur East the event will be broadcast on national television on ITV on Sunday 5th June to celebrate The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Marching in

The Stockport based band opened the show in front of an audience of 10,000 people by marching into the arena before performing a fanfare composed for the event whilst Becky Hill made an entrance up the make shift road

The event combined exciting performance collaborations from some of the biggest names in music such as the Kaiser Chiefs, Tom Grennan, Steps, Becky Hill, Heather Small, Calum Scott, House Gospel Choir, Nathan Dawe and Ella Henderson.
