Record entry for Foden's on-line Whit Friday competitions

There will be a worldwide flavour to the march entertainment on offer at the forthcoming Foden's On-line Whit Friday events.

Fodens
  118 bands will take part in the various sections of the competition

Foden's have announced details of the 118 bands who will compete in their 2021 Online Whit Friday Contests to be held on the weekend of Friday 28th & Saturday 29th May.

The contest which will be broadcast at 4.00pm each day has attracted entries from across the globe — with bands from each of the 'home' nations battling against ensembles from the USA, Japan, Singapore, Denmark and Australia, as well as a number of traditional Whit Friday 'scratch' bands.

Fantastic response

Speaking about the contest, Foden's Darren Lea told 4BR: "We have received a fantastic response and would like to thank all the competing bands for submitting their videos — once again the standard has been extremely high!"

Further details about the event will be released by the band over the coming weeks.
