The St Dennis Band has announced the signing of the experienced Sarah Whitehead as their new first horn.

Sarah is no stranger to the band, having played many times as a guest over the years. She has a wealth of talent and experience that has also seen her play with the likes of Mount Charles at the highest level.

Director of Music, Darren R. Hawken told 4BR: "I'm thrilled to welcome Sarah to the band. Her musical credentials shine and fit exactly with our developing ethos and culture.

Sarah and Francesca Bazeley on solo horn have no less than six 'Best Horn' awards at the famous Bugle contest so it's going to be great to hear them perform together."
