The Geneva Group has announced that Carlton Main Frickley Band principal cornet Kirsty Abbotts has become their latest Development & Performance Artist.
It follows Geneva's launch of its much anticipated Heritage cornet produced in collaboration with Phillip McCann on which Kirsty will now perform.

Kirsty is regarded as one of the brass band movement's finest lyrical cornet soloists, with a remarkable CV of awards and prizes to her name at the highest level throughout her career.
She most recently claimed the Harry Mortimer 'Best Principal Cornet Award' at the 2017 and 2018 Brass in Concert Championships as well as the 'Best Soloist' accolade in 2019.
Her CD recordings 'Soliloquoy' and 'A Search for Peace' were received with widespread critical and popular acclaim.
