Foden's Band has revealed that they have received over 70 entries in the four classes of their forthcoming 10th anniversary Solo & Ensemble Competition.

The online event builds on the success their virtual Whit Friday contest in June which was enjoyed around the world.

Top five

The top five entrants in each class will now go through to the Grand Final which will take place on the 30th October. The Percussion and Ensemble classes are open for entrants until 23rd October with its category final on the same date.

The programme will be broadcast on YouTube and will be introduced by 4BR Editor Iwan Fox on the evening.

Support

Foden's spokesperson Andy Rolfe told 4BR: "We have received brilliant entries from across the globe — and will provide the world class judges with a really difficult but enjoyable task to separate."

Advertisers are now being given the chance to support the event and can use the high profile of the evening to reach out to customers for just £50 plus VAT. Those wishing to support the event should contact Andy Rolfe at: rolfea@hotmail.co.uk
