26 players from four European nations will battle for the major solo competition honours in the Willebroek Solo Championships.

wILLEBROEK
The competition has attracted players from across Europe

The line-up of 26 players who will compete for the Blue Riband 'Over 19 Years of Age' category in the Willebroek Solo Championships has been announced.

A spokesperson told 4BR that they had been thrilled by both the quality and number of entrants and look forward to receiving as many entries in the Under 19 category (closing date October 22nd) and that a number came from prominent conservatoires and music institutions as well as individual brass bands and wind orchestras.

Brass Band Willebroek is also very pleased that several prominent schools, orchestras and bands from these countries are encouraging their musicians to participate.

Four countries

Players from four European countries will be represented — Netherlands, United Kingdom, France and Belgium.

The live-streamed final will take place on November 22nd at the Municipal Theater of Willebroek — or our live stream — for a fantastic musical event!
