The lineup of judges for the Foden's Solo & Ensemble contest have been revealed.

The Foden's Band has announced its panel of adjudicators who will make the all important decisions for their 2020 Solo & Ensemble Competition.

John Barber, Jonathan Bates, David Childs, Gary Curtin, Michael Fowles, Russell Gray, Mark Landon, Simone Rebello, Bramwell Tovey and Mark Wilkinson will be tasked with picking out the best in the six different categories.

Categories

The 10th anniversary event will feature Slow Melody and Air-Varie sections for each of the over-18 and under-18 age categories, plus Open Percussion and Ensemble sections.

Due to the anticipated number of entries, the solo categories will be split into two rounds of judging, with the top-five contenders invited to perform a different piece in the Grand Final.

Broadcast

This will also be broadcast online on Friday 30th October and will also feature the top-five performances from the other categories before the announcement of the results.

Deadline

The deadline for entries is 25th September, when soloists and ensembles will be able to submit their performances via Facebook.

Prior to submitting entries, full details and competition conditions can be obtained by e-mailing darren@fodensband.co.uk
