Live presentation

The broadcast will include live judge's comments, discussions and instant feedback from the panel after each performance, and will be hosted by MD, Philip Harper alongside television presenter and Cory Band President, Morgan Jones.

Speaking about the event, Philip told 4BR: "We're really excited to be hosting this event, and whilst we'd obviously all like to be back competing again properly, we're delighted to be able to offer bands something to focus on and keep them motivated during these challenging times.

He added: "We're also grateful to have secured sponsorship from World of Brass, Besson, Wright & Round, Indoor Music Games and Thurrock Marching Brass, all of whom have generously contributed towards the numerous trophies that will be awarded.

We'd also like to say a big thank you to Philip Morris, Kapitol Promotions and Brass Band World for their support in providing premises for our live studio."

Mentoring

Phil also revealed that Cory Band members have been mentoring competing bands as part of their contest preparation and believes that brass band fans are in for a treat.

"Having seen some of the entries I'm sure everyone is going to enjoy the entertainment on offer.

Our plan is to make this as live an experience as we can, whilst having some fun and providing a platform for bands across the world to showcase their talents."
