New radio station brings chunks of brass on air

KL Radio has been launched with a regular brass band programme each week...

radio
The new station has already captured a significant following of listeners

A brand new on-line radio show has been launched that will feature regular features on brass band music.

KL Radio features an eclectic mix of music to cater for all tastes from around the world with presenters bringing you everything from Ibiza trance to brass bands and just about everything in between!

Niche

The station was the brainchild of former Brighouse & Rastrick player Kevin Lever and since its launch on 1st July has already built up a significant following. Not surprisingly then, brass band music has a welcome niche.

Ian 'Chunky' Clarke is the presenter of the weekly 'Chunks of Brass' — born in Barnet but for 37 years a cornet player with Cawston Band in East Anglia and now with Norfolk Wherry Band.

Enjoy

You can enjoy 'Chunks of Brass' every Sunday for 2 hours at 7.00pm and you can be part of the show by sending in requests or recordings of your own.
