Following a short break summer break, Brass Bands England (BBE) has announced the resumption of its popular series of on-line webinars and events.
The new programme will focus on different elements of performance, artistic direction and band governance delivered by a range of speakers and members of the BBE team.
Arranging
It all kicks off on Wednesday 19th August (7.00pm) with Cory MD, Philip Harper providing a session on the topic of advanced arranging for brass band.
It aims to provide an ideal follow-on workshop for those who joined Philip for his June webinar 'Arranging for Brass Band' and for anyone with basic experience in arranging music.
It will chart the development of an arrangement from the initial idea through all stages of creation and decision-making to finished product.
Anyone who missed the initial arranging webinar can catch up with the video on the Brass Bands England facebook page: www.facebook.com/BrassBandsEngland
This webinar will be delivered using the Zoom webinar platform so attendees can interact and ask questions throughout the session.
This session is free for BBE members, and £5 for non-members.

Copyright
In September the session will be provided by Nicki Tonge of World of Brass, who will provide an interactive webinar on the topic of copyright.
As copyright is such a wide and varied topic, the hosts are asking in advance what attendees want the webinar to cover — from live-streaming, performing rights to simply obtaining music.
Attendees can submit requests and questions to the hosts in advance via: https://forms.gle/zq17kcaGbt1R24UN9
This webinar will take place on Thursday 3rd September (7.00pm) using the Zoom webinar platform so attendees can interact and ask questions throughout the session.
This session is free for BBE members, and £5 for non-members.
