Cory principal cornet player Tom Hutchinson has just launched his latest musical venture — an on-line one-stop shop for all things cornet — both Bb and Eb.

Talking to 4BR, Tom said: "The idea of thecornetshop.com was to create a central place on-line for cornet and soprano players to purchase all their related products.

The reason was simple. I wanted to be able to find what I needed as a cornet player in one place. When I found I couldn't I thought I better do it for myself!"

Tom has already started to fill up the shop with the type of products required — from solos and CDs, to mouthpieces, mutes, study books, gig bags, accessories and much, much more.

In the near future he told 4BR that he will also be adding a Besson spare parts page.
