The UniBrass Foundation has announced the launch of its new Lottery scheme to help raise money to fund its work and give our supporters the opportunity to win up to £25,000.

Those wishing to support the venture can enter the UniBrass Lottery for £1.00 per week.

Larger host

4BR has been informed that for every £1 entry, the UniBrass Foundation automatically receives 50p, with the remainder added to a larger prize fund, hosted by the Unity lottery platform.

Weekly monetary prizes range from £25-£25,000, with entrants also gaining the opportunity to win free entries into future draws, all whilst helping the charity.

Entry to the UniBrass Lottery is quick and easy by visiting the website to purchase tickets by direct debit: https://www.unitylottery.co.uk/causes/the-unibrass-foundation/

Chance to win

A spokesperson told 4BR: "Each £1 entry is one chance to win each week, and you can enter up to 20 times per month. You'll be randomly allocated your numbers and, if you win, your prize cheque will be sent to your door!"

The UniBrass Foundation supports university brass bands, providing educational, musical and performance opportunities to existing university ensembles and to encourage the creation of new bands.

It aims to provide a crucial link between youth banding and community banding movements, and ensure the future generation of brass musicians continue to play throughout their time at university."

Activity

The spokesperson added: "The focal point of the Foundation's activity is supporting the organisation of the annual UniBrass contest, in which university bands from across the UK come together to compete in two sections.

As well as the contest, the Foundation provides advice to university ensembles, supports carolling events, has hosted a student conductors course, organised summer music events, and is looking forward to future artistic development activities.

As a charity, the UniBrass Foundation relies on donations to carry out these projects, and funds raised from this new Lottery will enable the Foundation to host more events and support more students."
