Sarah Inman, a cornet player with Summerbridge & Dacre Silver Band in North Yorkshire was picked out of the hat after working out that the link between a former First Section Champion Band of Great Britain, a 1978 hit song for Debbie Harry and the pop group 'Blondie', an Australian cricketer who took 355 test wickets, and a comic book dog called 'Gnasher' was... Dennis.
St Dennis won the 2016 First Section National title, 'Denis, Denis' was the hit song, the great Dennis Lillee was the Australian bowler and the anarchic Dennis the Menace had a dog called 'Gnasher'...
