'Brand' new mouthpieces set to make a mark

New Swiss designed and produced plastic mouthpieces made of a harmless plastic compound are set to make their mark on the banding world.

  Brand mouthpieces

Barnes & Mullins, the leading distributors and exporters of musical instruments and accessories have announced the availability of 'Brand' mouthpieces in the UK and Ireland.

Inventor Michael Brand spends his professional career in the plastics industry in Switzerland, but as an enthusiastic trumpeter he has merged his two interests and set about creating the very finest mouthpieces.

Merge

Selecting a unique, biologically harmless plastic compound, BPA free and Phthalate free, he worked with the patented TurboBore 'rifled' design to merge an exclusive material with exclusive technology.

He believes the 'Brand' mouthpieces are now some of the most powerful innovations that offer brass players an exciting, powerful playing experience.

Manufactured from an exclusive cellulose-based composite, Brand mouthpieces are also non-allergenic.

As dirt and debris does not adhere to plastic the way it does to metal, Brand mouthpieces also stay cleaner for longer and are easier to clean when required.

Prices

The initial UK Brand trumpet mouthpiece range is available with a retail price from £45.95, with trombone and tuba mouthpieces retailing for £59.95 and £73.50 respectively.

Brand Boosters — metal additions designed to add weight and focus tone even further — are available in various metal materials from £69.50.

Brand mouthpieces are available to buy now from all major brass instrument retailers.
