In a major exclusive interview, 4BR has been speaking to professional musician and film writer Chris Haigh about a very special project that he is involved with in the United States.

Chris currently lives and works right in the epicentre of entertainment industry in Hollywood, and is currently putting the finishing touches to a documentary about Ryan Anthony, the renowned trumpet player who when diagnosed with terminal cancer turned to music and performing, giving hope to people around the world.

It's an incredible story that involves the performance of the beautiful 'Song of Hope' written by composer Peter Meechan.

Pete, who is equally well known in the banding world for his major test-piece compositions as well as concert works has made every part of 'Song for Hope' available for download to play along with a recording on the site.

Cancer Blows

Many of the world's finest trumpet players have already supported the initiative with many uploading their own videos in support of Ryan's 'Cancer Blows' charity initiative.

We caught up with Chris at home in Hollywood to find out more about a quite incredible story and the man who has inspired countless others through his fight against terminal illness...
